Should public restrooms be moved outside?
Even with excellent ventilation and proper janitorial processes public restrooms tend to get dirty and have foul smells. Lets face it, it is a very dirty natural process which sould not be confined indoors.

- well on rainy/snowy/stormy days, women would be screwed waiting in long lines. so no, that is a terrible idea. haha.
- but outside will stink. they should leave it indoors but have an autimatic air freshener spay every other minute or so
- Sounds good, but in reality is SUX!
- they all ready are. it's called a bush
- I think you need to stop worrying about it... would you rather it be closer to the public place therefore it HAS BEEN REQUIRED by STATE LAW to be cleaned... due to health regulations... or would you rather it be outside were, by law, it does not have to be cleaned because it is technically outside the building....
- They've already attempted that, they're called out-houses. Our not-so-distant relatives used them. Then, thanks to modern technology, intelligence, and foresight, they were moved indoors. Ummm, let's take a step backward and move them back outside... NOT!
- Well, here in Australia we used to have to trek 20 yards down the backyard to the "dunny", sometimes in the middle of the night or a thunderstorm, swotting the mozzies as you go. I know you're talking about public conveniences, but I prefer to not have to brave the elements to get to a restroom. The answer is for them to be cleaned more regularly.
