Where do I place a gable fan for my attic with 2 side vents? 1 on the east and 1 on the west side.?

1. place it on the west end since the air entering will be entering from the east in the afternoon and be coler
2. Place it in the spot that will get the most benefit of the wind in order to cool the attic space better. I have vents all around the underside of the gables at my home and still installed three wind turbines most strategically.
3. ok lets get the terminology correct.....a gable is the "A" part of the roof system.....the vents around a house is the overhang....if ur vents that r installed now r in the gable then install ur fan 3 ft from the ridge, top, of the roof on the side that gets the least amount of sun......
