Are houses in the U.S. ...?

airconditioned? I'm just curious because in the movies, it almost always seems so, as though the temperature's cool enough inside houses. I would just like to know if most houses in America use natural ventilation, electric fans, or airconditioners? Thanks guys!

1. Most houses have A.C.'s along with ceiling fans, etc. Depends on the time of the year, sometimes it's nice enough where we can turn the A.C. off and leave windows open and use ceiling fans, etc.
2. It depends on the age of the house and the finances of the person living there. Newer houses have built in air conditioning. Older houses have window units (something you don't see when you watch movies). There are people can't afford AC and only have fans
