Ventilation Louvres

are these sounds natural for my xbox 360?

well,i always hear strong sound and i know its the ventilation but when i put in a disc like lets say gta 4 it starts making 'dd dd dd' sounds is this natural? or do i have to do something to stop it.?

Yehh, mine does that too. i think cos the newer games have such high graphic and resouloution content, the 360 has put in some effort to load the games:P haha, i got used to the noise, but if its too loud or annoying, sit it horizontally and load your games to your hard drive, then instead of playing the game from the menu, go to your game library and select the game, then select "play from hard drive"( you still need the disc inserted) instead of just playing it from the disc. this makes the whole system run much quieter as its not using much energy reading the disc. the disc is more there for security reasons, cos if you could just save games to your hard drive, everyone would rent games for like $5 then save them. :P Add my Gamertag? (ZINGERDING), my lives expired but il get a new one soon :P
2. I agree with the answer above. But you can't just play it from the hard drive. You have to install it to it, which takes up a significant amount of space, but it's definitely worth it. The sounds will surely dissipate once done, and the games will load faster than they would if played from the disc.
