Can you cool a sustainable building w/o using natural ventilation? Is natural ventilation the MOST efficie?

2. ventilation, natural or forced, will not cool anything. All ventilation can do is keep the interior temperature somewhat close to the outside temperature, and probably higher. Could be a lot higher depending on the heat load inside the building. If you want to cool the building, ie, keep it cooler than the outside air, you need an airconditioning unit. .
